AMP is in work to exclusively unionize FedEx Aircraft Mechanics nationally through Railway Labor Act (RLA) / National Mediation Board (NMB) rules.
Additionally, AMP is in work to free the Facility, Sort, and Vehicle Mechanics from national RLA/NMB unionization rules so they can unionize locally under National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) / National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) rules.
- AMP is in work at the NLRB to:
- Address “Unfair Labor Practices” employed by FedEx against its Aircraft, Facility, Sort, and Vehicle Mechanics.
- Challenge FedEx’s RLA/NMB certification as an Airline/Express carrier.
